NGC 4274 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Coma Berenices with an angular size of 7.2x3.0 arcmin in the center of this image. The galaxy, shining at 10.5 mag, was discovered by William Herschel 1785. In the upper right, NGC 4278, NGC 4283 and NGC 4286 are visable.
North is at about 7 o'clock in this deep exposed image.
